An old Boosey Eb bass from our band room made a guest appearance in the flower festival at the local church.

After giving the instrument a bit of a polish we were able to find out a bit about the instrument's history. The info below was kindly supplied by Dr Gavin Dixon of the Horniman Museum in London.
